Congratulations to our Gavin Tsang for getting through the first round – we were all a bit sad to see him go in the second week.
But with his talent and positive attitude we are sure this only the beginning for Gavin, who has already starred in The King and I in the West End earlier in 2009.
Here’s his final performance on So You Think You Can Dance.
Good luck for the future Gavin. We look forward to seeing you back in Liverpool when you get the chance.
He made it! Through all the open auditions into the final 14 for the live shows.
And now he’s gone and made it through to Round 2! Well, we always knew he would.
Gavin Tsang trained at MDDC before heading off for work with Costa Cruises. After a season on the seas he went straight into the West End in the acclaimed The King and I.
Gavin popped back to MDDC for a while as a guest teacher but had to leave at the end of last term to join So You Think You Can Dance.
He’s got some stiff competition but we’re all rooting for him. Are you?
Gavin Tsang shows Neil how it's done.

Bruce Jones and David Heath
When David Heath left MDDC in 2005 he never truly realised what the next couple of years had in store. After a whirlwind of X Factor success, making it onto the live shows with Eton Road, David then toured the country with the rest of the group.
Now a triumphant home-coming, David is to star as Dick Whittington in NDL Productions seasonal pantomime at the Contemporary Urban Centre in Liverpool.
Starring opposite Bruce Jones (Coronation Street’s Les Battersby) the show will run for both Matinee and Evening performances from 14th December – 3rd January. Tickets from £5.
For further details or to book tickets, contact the Contemporary Urban Centre on 0151 708 3500.
